The scenario is this: social agents are sometimes working in their office alone. They have their browser open in Lino, but that window is minimized because they are writing e.g. some document. At that time it can happen that a client arrives at the reception and asks for a consultation with that social agent. Currently the reception clerk must phone to the social agent to tell him that a client is waiting. We have the autorefresh feature, but that causes a lot of network traffic which might be avoided if we had live notifications. This feature would obsolete #837. It ticket is basically done (works on a development server), but cannot yet deploy because of #1331.
