I am going to upgrade Jane now.  (12 months ago by Luc Saffre)
Done. You must sign in again. (1 year, 1 month ago by Luc Saffre)
I will now start a release on Jane, mostly to fix a missed lazy string on bugs.SR. Requires data migration. Expect some 15 minutes of downtime. (1 year, 1 month ago by Luc Saffre)
Jane is back. The `Comment.published` field  has been removed again (because it had turned out to be a useless pseudo feature). (1 year, 1 month ago by Luc Saffre)
I will upgrade Jane soon. (1 year, 1 month ago by Luc Saffre)
Okay Jane is back and I hope everythig works as before. I'll continue with the comment publishing tomorrow. The new features aren't yet very visible... (1 year, 2 months ago by Luc Saffre)

Jane is back, and the cron error message should not come any more tomorrow. (1 year, 3 months ago by Luc Saffre)
The "Table 'jane.tinymce_textfieldtemplate' doesn't exist" error message comes in the daily cron snapshot. It's  because I didn't to a snapshot-restore when changing from extjs6 to extjs3.  Iwill work on Jane now in order to repair this. (...) (1 year, 3 months ago by Luc Saffre)
I changed default_ui to default (extjs3) because there are obviously some more bugs caused by the changes in use_django_forms. For example it wasn't possible to start a new session. Fortunately these bugs are only in extjs6. (1 year, 3 months ago by Luc Saffre)
Jane is back. There were memory problems during the restore.py, some other problems which i fixed, and it seems that there are still some problems caused by our recent merge of elems into a single module. One of them is #2259. (1 year, 3 months ago by Luc Saffre)
I will now deploy my recent changes to `jane` because I want to test the use_django_forms changes on our own production site before deploying them to a customer.  Also because I'd like to see how #2252 works. And also because I renamed clocking to working which requires a manual data migration.
(1 year, 3 months ago by Luc Saffre)
Going to do a release on jane.
    New features:
Grid selection is now per-row, and you can sellect multiple rows.
This allows you to delete >1 row at a time or run actions on several rows at once.
Also the data corruption issue should be solved.
Lino should only ask if you want to save if the form is actually dirty.
Invalid number of PV values error is also fixed.

(1 year, 4 months ago by Tonis Piip)
Created new ticket #2141. (1 year, 5 months ago by Luc Saffre)
No I didn't but I saw that Django was already Django==1.11.3.dev20170613125626
I'll do that now and see if it helps.

(1 year, 5 months ago by Tonis Piip)
Tonis, dDid you do "pip -U django"? If that doesn't help, let's look at it together. (1 year, 5 months ago by Luc Saffre)
    Offending commit is b8cf288af8b5af374b63d0956ab3c816da92f969
Reason being that it seems that the AppConfig is not being correctly loaded, and thus ready() is not being called, and so django.setup() is not being called at the right time.

Had a shot at fixing it, but no luck.
(1 year, 5 months ago by Tonis Piip)
Found the offending commit, going to test some solutions, Jane will be unstable.

(1 year, 5 months ago by Tonis Piip)
Going to see which commit is the offending commit.
Jane will be going up and down for the next while.
(1 year, 5 months ago by Tonis Piip)
    There was complications while updating.
Django raised "AppRegistryNotReady: Apps aren't loaded yet." during site-startup.
There was no clear cause, and only untill reverting XL to commit d81b49751cde6ca0184f93a7ece64ea6a867450a allowed django to start again.

Next step is to walk the commits until the offending commit is found.

(1 year, 5 months ago by Tonis Piip)
I am gonna update Jane and remove faculties (Skills) because we actually never needed this plugin and it seems to be a performance killer. (1 year, 6 months ago by Luc Saffre)
Jane is back. I cannot see a clear improvement of performance... (1 year, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre)
I will soon start a release on Jane. (1 year, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre)
Going to do another release on jane. Cannot change state of a meeting because of a wrong select_related() (1 year, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre)
I will do an upgrade now, because i need a bugfix for my service report. (1 year, 7 months ago by Luc Saffre)
Due to some quick-fixes and Jane not wanting to update the JS file, jane has been unsatable.

Upgrade is done and Jane is stable, if there are any bugs where windows won't open refresh your JS file, if it remains report. (1 year, 7 months ago by Tonis Piip)
Going to do another release to Jane.
Main updates being bug-fix for grids not refreshing on open and some CSS changes for how disabled fields are displayed. (1 year, 7 months ago by Tonis Piip)
    New release to Jane.

    Now text is selectable.

The incorrectly submitted comment Issue is still on-going.

If you have a comment that is important, open the write-comment window first, close it, re-open and then write your comment. That seems to be a workaround that works.

(1 year, 8 months ago by Tonis Piip)
    New release to Jane.
There was a bug, where there were failing Ajax requests on record Saves, and comments not being attached to Tickets.
If these persist, let me know.

(1 year, 8 months ago by Tonis Piip)
I am currently doing a series of server reloads with manual changes in the repos (and i plan to undo these changes later, i don't want to make a release but want to get my service reports printed). (1 year, 8 months ago by Luc Saffre)

Going to make a release to Jane. (1 year, 10 months ago by Tonis Piip)
Jane is now on ExtJS6. Hamza and I will test it soon. Hi Hamza, did you also have the short error message "Killed" when you tried to restore.py the first time? Was that the error message which you mentioned? It comes when there is not enough memory for running the process. Solution was to run reload_services.sh which frees quite some memory because all Python processes reinitialized. Afterwards the restore.py ran without problem.
(1 year, 11 months ago by Luc Saffre)
Hamza and I are now going to make a release on Jane. (1 year, 11 months ago by Luc Saffre)
Updated jane, looks like the removal of votes has make the dashboard much more scarse. We'll see how we like it. (1 year, 11 months ago by Tonis Piip)
Slight hick-up with the last update when installing the other repos into the env. Seems to work now. (1 year, 11 months ago by Tonis Piip)
Going to do a update to jane. (2 years ago by Tonis Piip)
Tonis, It seems that our roleplay "Luc as customer and Tonis as maintainer" works fine. I have the feeling that I can (and should) really now move away from deploying myself new versions to Jane. So I hereby assign you the responsibility of doing this and maintaining Jane (with my assistance as needed of course).  Congratulations :-) This is a great news because it will take some responsibility from my shoulders. It might slow down the evolution of Jane a bit for a while, but there is nothing really urgent at the moment, and it will definitively increase the power of our team. (2 years ago by Luc Saffre)
I will now do another quick update on Jane. Details in my blog. (2 years ago by Luc Saffre)
I did another update on Jane : now we have "vote invitations". See details in my blog. (2 years ago by Luc Saffre)
I plan an upgrade of Jane in about half an hour. This time it might last a bit longer than usual because there are two manual data migrations (milestones become activities). Tonis and Hamza, ping me if you want to watch. (2 years ago by Luc Saffre)
Jane is back at work. (2 years ago by Luc Saffre)
I will now upgrade Jane. See my blog for details. (2 years ago by Luc Saffre)
I finished for today. I am quite satisfied, but I need more testing on the field before it is worth documenting. (2 years, 1 month ago by Luc Saffre)
